The second race of the season brought us to Lippman
park in Wawarsing, NY. For the first time, NICA tested out a rolling start, where the riders left the staging area in their places and slowly rolled to the start line where the racing began. This course was dry with loose gravel and lots of turns. The First half of the course had the riders climbing mostly uphill with some up and down sections, and then began the decent to the finish.
R-Cubed NICA again had the largest team with 36 riders, had 14 riders finish on the podium and retained the 4th place spot for overall team points.
