The warm and dry conditions the team rode on Saturday changed dramatically overnight when a storm dropped over an inch of rain over the area. Due to the rain and attempts to preserve the race course, the morning Pre-ride Sunday was cancelled.
The middle School Girls sarted the day off with , Kiera, Mackenzie, and Anne racing. Anne Completed her first ever NICA race, finishing 2nd in the 6th Grade girls Race. Mackenzie raced strong and finished 7th in the 7th grade girls race and Kiera finished with a 10 min lead in the 8th Grade girls race. They all cam back muddy, but all smiles.
Next up was the high School Girls races. Erin and Amber led off the second wave of races in the Varsity Girls race, finishing second and third prospectively. Kat led the JV girls race, winning with over a minute gap over second. Emma had a strong race, finishing 4th amd Lily also raced hard finishing 6th. Avery completed her first NICA race on the podium, finishing in second place in the Sophomoe girls field.
Middle School boys started the afternoon of racing. All the 8th Grade boys finished in the top 10 with Aiden and Jonathan on the podium in 3rd and 5th place followed by Cameron in 9th, Tanner in 10th. All of the 7th Grade Boys also finished in the top 10, with Reed landing on the Podium in 5th place followews by Peter in 8th place.
Riley and Brayden started off the final race block of the day in the Freshman Boys Race. Riley raced to a 4th place podium finish and Brayden finished 12th, both racing in their first high school race. Ethan and Logan competed in the Sophomore Boys race, with Ethan taking the 2nd podium spot and Logan taking 9th. In th JV Boys Race, Charles landed on he podium in 4th place, with Michael finishing in the top 10 in 8th place. Alex and Connor rounded out the R-Cubed crew in 16th and 18th place. The Varsity Boys race was a fast one, with John, Jasper and Owen placing 7th, 8th and 9th, and Silas in 11th.
