19 Student Athletes and 23 Adults headed up to East Burke, Vermont  once again!

After unpacking we headed up to Darling hill to ride. After a coupel hours of riding, the skys iopened up and it downpoured on us!  WE called it and headed back to the lodge.  About 100 feet don the road, we noticed that it didn't even rain there!  Apparently the cloud was just for us! At night we watched the Minions movie!

Luckily that was the only race that really ended our rides.   The next day we rode to the Moose Haven trails and had some fun on the downhills.  We had lunch and then headed back to the lodge for some down time and games.  We had a nice relaxing fire at night.

Day 3 was our day of cross training or relxation. A group did a hike up Burke Mountain, some rode a little and then went swimming in the river.  After the hike, the rest went down to the river for some recovery swimming and rest. In the evening we had our annual Kids vs adults Kickball game. Once again the Adults were victorius!

Day 4 was our big ride day!   We packed up our lunches and rode from the lodge down to town and then then hit trails until 12, when we met at the Tiki bar fr lunch.  After lunch the groups divided again based on how much riding they watned to do and we rode until late afternoon. We once again met down at the river for some swimming and ice cream.  After dinner the event of the camp took place..the mini bike race.   3 teams completed in relay format, riding 12" bikes on the marked course with varying terrain and hills for bragging rights.  It was entertaining and fun for all!

The last day we packed up the lodge,  and went out for the final ride, followed by river time and departing for home.

It was a week packed with fantastic riding, relaxation and Vermont fun!   Can't wait for next year!
