A taste of spring greeted us at Lippmann park for round 2 of the NICA NY Race series. The sun was shining on a relatively dry course on Saturday for the pre-ride with only a couple puddles on the last portion of the course. The course was dry, fast and flowy, with some care to be taken on the loose gravel turns. Saturday nights rain led to something we have become very familiar with this year, a very muddy course. Luckily the first 2.3 of the course remained in good condition, but the third section was filled with soft squishy mud and deep puddles. We were missing a couple racers due to spring break, but we had another great showing. The team once again finished in 4th place out of 22 teams. Great job to all the racers.
